BIO: I remember growing up shooting my dad’s old bow that was as big as I was and probably weighed just as much as me. I knew from that point on I was addicted to Archery. I have shot my bow year round since then but just started shooting competitively a few years ago thanks to a very good friend of mine. He taught me about the classes and rules and helped me out a lot on my form. The first few local shoots I went to I was very nervous. I eventually got over that and started coming to some Regions Archery shoots and loved shooting at them. Competitive archery is a rapidly growing sport, I’m very happy that I got involved with shooting. I try to shoot a few arrows each night and keep up on practice. And before a big shoot I’ll try and shoot a lot every night. A good group of friends always makes me shoot better as well. I’m hoping that in the next year or so I can try the open class. I’ve always wanted to try it out, I hope I like it as much as I do bowhunter class. But I like anything with a bow in my hand so I know I will like it. Hopefully you all will see me on the open line next year.
THINGS YOU LIKED ABOUT REGIONS ARCHERY: I liked the people. Everyone is super nice. You can’t find a better group of people to hang out with. Dusty, Michael, and I are planning on attending several Regions Archery shoots again next year. If anyone hasn’t tried it the Modern Bowhunter class is an absolute blast to shoot in. I’m looking forward to shooting it again next year. Shots from tree stands and ground blinds are very challenging. Then there’s the pop-ups. Everyone likes shooting them. . I hope to see everyone at the next Regions Archery.
